Riot – Bitcoin Mining

Riot needed a 400-megawatt infrastructure expansion at its newly acquired Whinstone US crypto facility in Rockdale, Texas.

To meet the highly specific environmental control requirements of cryptocurrency operations, Sprung delivered multiple clear-span fabric enclosures, each the size of a football field. These 9,290 m² structures were fully insulated and designed to provide superior indoor climate control, ample natural light, and the durability to withstand all weather conditions.

With dimensions of 30.48 meters wide by 246.9 meters long, the buildings featured rolling service doors, HVAC ducting, and highly efficient fiberglass insulation systems.
