SAIT Gymnasium

As part of a multi-year campus redevelopment, SAIT required a transitional gymnasium to serve students and faculty while its new Athletics and Recreation Centre was under construction.

SAIT’s Wellness Centre was designed, delivered, and fully operational within 11 months. The 35.7 m × 36.6 m (120’ × 120’) fully insulated facility includes a full-sized basketball court (also adaptable for badminton and volleyball), locker rooms, washrooms, and dedicated areas for cardio machines, free weights, and other fitness equipment.

The clear-span design, daylight panels, custom glazing wall, and energy-efficient insulation ensure a bright, comfortable environment year-round.

Additional features include a 14.3’ (4.35 m) entrance vestibule, an 8’ × 15’ (2.44 m × 4.57 m) glazing wall, and 42 Sprung LED lights.
