In 2004, AECOM required multiple warehousing and vehicle maintenance structures at the busy Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The goal was to quickly provide durable, cost-effective, and flexible facilities to support ongoing operations.

Sprung delivered eight high-performance structures, designed with clear-span interiors and daylight panels to maximize natural light. The structures featured tan or green architectural membranes, providing an attractive, efficient alternative to conventional warehousing.
