As enrollment grew at Kings Swim School, instructors found it increasingly difficult to deliver their teaching program due to limited pool space, especially when incorporating endurance training alongside technique-focused lessons.

Sprung designed, delivered, and constructed a 24 m × 41 m (80’ × 135’) fully insulated pool enclosure—the first of its kind in New Zealand. The new facility features daylight panels for abundant natural light and an eye-catching mosaic-patterned exterior that enhances the building’s appeal.

The expanded Kings Swim School now offers four times the water space of its previous location, enabling a broader range of training and lessons. The facility has attracted significant community interest, prompting the school to host multiple tours showcasing the innovative Sprung structure.
