Faced with climate challenges and reliance on imported food, investors and farmers in Trinidad and Tobago sought to enhance local food security.

Berrycove Ltd. commissioned Sprung to build climate-smart, specialized greenhouses for growing berries and greens, with features to manage temperature, ventilation, water collection, and light.

Sprung delivered four greenhouses measuring 15.2 m × 64.0 m (50’ × 210’) each, fully airtight and watertight, with translucent membrane panels, screened windows, rainwater collection, and cross-ventilation to optimize plant growth. Additionally, a head house measuring 12.2 m × 21.3 m (40’ × 70’) was provided for mechanical and packaging operations, including daylight panels and insulated partition walls.
