The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, anticipating the arrival of the popular Raytheon MathAlive! traveling exhibit, commissioned Sprung to deliver a structure to historic Ford Island.
The Raytheon Pavilion, opened in 2016, is housed in a fully insulated 15.2 m × 25.0 m (50’ × 82’) Sprung structure. Located between Hangars 37 and 79, it provides space for ever-changing exhibits, ranging from the future of aviation to World War II heroes, and complements the museum’s outdoor collection of historic and modern helicopters.
