When Harvard Business School prepared to demolish Kresge Hall, its 1950s-era executive education dining facility, the university faced a major challenge: how to continue serving its executive education students during construction of the new building.
The solution needed to be cost-effective, quickly deployable, and visually aligned with the prestigious Harvard campus.Sprung, in collaboration with Kitchens to Go (KTG), delivered an elegant 24.4 m × 33.5 m (80’ × 110’) fully insulated structure in just 29 days. Outfitted with modular kitchen facilities, glazing walls, and translucent daylight panels, the building blended seamlessly with surrounding architecture. Serving 400 diners three times daily, it provided a comfortable, permanent-quality dining experience during the interim period.
